The Stocky Data Rescue Checklist
Export everything before August 31 — before it goes read-only, then gone.
Stocky was delisted February 2, 2026 (no reinstalls) and becomes fully unavailable August 31, 2026. After that it's read-only "for a period," then gone entirely — and Stocky's APIs die the same day. This is the exact list of what to export, in what format, and why, sourced from Shopify's own Stocky documentation. Free, no strings — useful whether or not you ever become a Stockitory customer.

1. Export your Purchase Orders
Historical POs do not migrate to native Shopify — CSV export is the only way to keep them.
Steps: In Stocky, go to Purchase Orders → select the full date range you want (all-time recommended — you won't be able to go back for more once Stocky sunsets) → Export → choose CSV (not PDF or plain text). Save the file somewhere durable, labeled clearly (e.g.
stocky-pos-export-2026-08.csv).Why CSV specifically: PDF and plain-text exports are for human reading only. CSV is the one format that preserves the row/column data an importer — ours or anyone else's — can read back in.

2. Reconstruct your supplier list
Suppliers cannot be exported from Stocky at all — this is permanent data loss unless reconstructed.
The workaround: every PO you exported in step 1 has its supplier name attached to it. As long as your PO export is complete, a supplier list can be rebuilt from the unique supplier values across those rows — that's how Stockitory's importer reconstructs suppliers, since Stocky itself won't export them.
Still lost even with reconstruction: supplier-level settings — lead time, restock period, minimum order quantities, cost price lists, pack sizes, default tax rate. There is no export button for these. If any of them matter to you, write them down manually (a screenshot of each supplier's settings page works) before August 31.

3. Export your stocktake history
No historical count data is kept in Stocky after sunset — export before sunset or it's gone.
Steps: In Stocky, go to Reports → Adjustments or Stock on Hand → export CSV. Stocky's in-app reports (including count/valuation history) are documented as exportable before sunset — that's the confirmed path for this data.
Mid-count tip: if you have a barcode stocktake in progress, Stocky's barcode stocktake screen supports a mid-count CSV download with the full column set — use it before finishing or abandoning the count.

4. Bonus: grab these other reports while you still can
Not imported by Stockitory yet, but useful records regardless — none of these have a "grab it later" option; they're in-app only and disappear with the rest.
- Adjustments report — who changed stock, when, and why.
- Stock on Hand valuation, including historical daily snapshots per vendor.
- ABC report, best sellers, sales/vendor/product reports if you rely on them for year-end numbers.
